mixed signal simulation of a transmitter running very slow
Mar 29th, 2018, 12:34am

HI,

I am trying to run a transient simulation of a transmitter block. I have got all the biases up, but still i dont have the CLK enabled.

once I enable the dividers (without CLK) the simulations start to slow down a lot.

can anybody suggest me some settings in ADE/irun to report the oscillating nodes or nodes thats causing to slow the simulation ?

Thanks,
nischay

You might want to take a look at the supply currents. That can often lead you to the activity.

Alternatively, you can try setting 'diagnose=detailed' (transient options), but that can be difficult to parse.
