IC Design business analysis study

Hi everyone, I'm new both to this forum as well as IC industry. I've recently joined an IC Design company as a key account manager. The first task I've been assigned is to conduct a business analysis study on IC Design industry in Asia and write a report on it. I'm struggling with this task because I have never done a formal business analysis study before but more importantly, I'm struggling to find the relevant up to date information to conduct this study. Please, can anyone here help me, any help is appreciated. Especially if its information about the IC Design industry in Asia. Thanks

I understand it is a bit complex task.
IC design can be very vast subject.
My suggestions is that you need to break up your
tasks into various domains (RF microwave, wireless, fiber optics, electronics etc.) and start preparing from there.
