Lines's Darkness for multiple tabs in Cadence ViVA
Aug 04th, 2017, 10:27am

When I have many tabs in ViVA, line's intensities are dark gradually for older tab.
I faced this phenomena recently.

I didn't face such phenomena previously.

Is ther any method to make this darkness disable ?

I use Cadence IC6.1.7.

Which subversion of IC617 are you using? It might be related to an issue with dimming when using the ADE Explorer Real Time Tuning which accidentally affected other plotting scenarios. I think it's been fixed, but it would be good to know which subversion you're using so that I can check.

Regards,

Andrew.

I'd been hoping to find time to do some experiments in IC617 ISR5 to test this out in this older version. It's not entirely clear what the change in setup is between tabs, plus I can't quite see what the circular plots have to do with it.

Either way, given that we're now on IC617 ISR13, I'd suggest that you try with the latest ISR (I'm hopeful that this will have been fixed by other things related to dimming that have since been resolved) - and if it's still a problem, you should contact Cadence customer support at http://support.cadence.com . I'd like to promise to test this, but I'm on vacation after the end of this week and am unlikely to be able to get to testing this before then.

Regards,

Andrew.
