Cadence noise parameters [hlp]
Jul 04th, 2017, 4:24pm

Hello
Cadence has some output parameters for MOSFET noise simulation including:
fn,     id,      rd,      rs
If we want to relate these parameter to known MOSFET noise equations, can we write these equations?
fn=Kf/(Cox*W*L*f)
id=4*k*T*γ/gm
Are these equations true? Can you refer to a book or paper?
Tnx

The equation which you refer is actually a bookish equation or say 1st oder . In real time i.e on transitsor level these equations are not exactly so. THIS equation get modefied everytime according to the technology i,.e for 350nm it might be the different than the 65nm.
You should check noise equation, in foundry documents or say it PDK.
Hope it will help you!
