oscillator phase noise simulation problem [hlp]
Jul 01st, 2017, 1:22am

Hello
I'm working on design and simulation of Oscillators with Cadence Spectre.
I have sketched a schematic like sc1 (attached).
I have used PSS and PNoise analyses with parameters provided in sc2 and sc3 (attached).
The phase noise graph of oscillator is provided in attached file sc4. You can see that the result is bad!! I have used the MOS dimensions from paper that reported phase noise that is more than 30 dBc/Hz better than this result!
Is it any thing wrong in simulation? Or I must review the design? Or I must add something to circuit or simulation?
Thanks in advance.
