Self-Biasing Supply Independent Reference
Jun 17th, 2017, 5:13am

Hi All,

I am trying to reach better performance from a bootstrap biasing. Actually I need to achieve a better PSR.

I was wondering how to calculate the analytic expression for the supply rejection.

The topology has a positive feedback loop, I don't know if the same method for a negative  feedback loop is still valid.

Thanks so much,

C.

PSR is basically the inverse of gain of the circuit to any supply noise. With reference to your circuit, the gain happens through M2 (common gate amplifier) and the current mirror acts as the load.
