How to use the function "infotimes" in ADE XL ? ?
Feb 13th, 2017, 6:53pm

I know how to set the "infotimes" in separate mode...
like [0u 5u 10u 15u 20u]

but when i need to observe a time range from 0u to 200u
it is not smart to type the time from 0u to 200u with spacing 5u

my friend told me a setting method...
like [0u:5u:200u]
his simulation can run and complete successfully
but my simulation show me the error message
say that " to perform oppoints, need to specify both parameters 'infoname' and 'infotimes' "
why i meet this error message but he did not
anything forget to set or...? ?

there are other ways to reach the same purpose
like "save file"
but i think the method setting the "infotimes" in GUI interface is the most intuitive and convenient for me

my purpose is to obeserve the MOS "region" in a range of tran simulation

my virtuoso version is 6.1.5-64b

thank you for answering this question Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Which spectre version are you using? I checked this back as far as MMSIM111 (base release) and the [start:step:stop] works fine there (I couldn't so easily check earlier versions). That's quite old, so hopefully you should be able to use at least a 5-6 year old version of the tools?

Regards,

Andrew.
