De-modulator o/P harmonics detection
Dec 29th, 2016, 11:08pm

hi

i am new in this field. i want to know how can i check the harmonics (1,2,3,&4) at the o/p of de-modulator in cadence virtuoso. I saw one paper, they plotted it against Power (dBm) vs freq. Can envlp analysis do that in cadence?

Thanks

The harmonics of what - the carrier or the input signal (or rather the demodulated signal)? What form is the input signal that you're hoping to simulate?

Regards,

Andrew

actually i am using OOK modulator and demodulator. when i retrieved the base band signal at o/p of de-modulator, there are significant 2nd order harmonics at zero baseband level. i want to compare different scenarios in order to check how much 2nd order harmonics are there in every case. for reference, kindly see the attached diagrams
