I can find following options for extrap_char of $table_model() in Cadence Verilog-A Language Reference.
Quote:
extrap_char ::= C | L | S | E

I know C, L, and E.
However I don't know S.
What does it mean by "S" as extrap_char of $table_model() ?

C=Clamp or Constant Extrapolation Method
L=Linear Extrapolation Method
S=???
E=Error Extrapolation Method

Only C L and E are allowed, per the Verilog-AMS Language Reference Manual, version 2.4.

You will probably need to ask Cadence directly.
