Q about Monte Carlo with Virtuoso (TSMC65nm)
Apr 21st, 2014, 8:34am

Hi,

I am working with TSMC65nm and I am trying to run Monte Carlosimulation from ADE.
I tried the mismatch analysis and it worked after I added the corresponding sections in the Model Libraries. The problem happens when I try the process analysis. I added mc_xxx sections in the Model Libraries, then I always get errors about parameters that are redefined when I run the simulation.

I appreciate any help about that.

Thanks,

Did you just add the mc_xxx sections, or did you replace the xxx section with mc_xxx?

There is a way to have the simulator ignore or warn on redefined parameters, but then you'd have to be sure that the definition the simulator used was the one you wanted it to use.
