mtline - lossy model for microstripe line
Jul 19th, 2010, 1:02pm

Hi All,

I'm trying to model the loss of a microstrip line using the mtline component. I'm using the fieldsover method and am after a wideband lossy model.

However on the CDF form there is no input for the dielectric loss when microstripe is selected.
The dielectric loss is only taken into account in coplanar model option.

How can I model the dielectric loss for a microstrip line?
Does anyone have any experience on this please? Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot.
