Hi,

I'm doubting spectreS is registered in IC6. This is an old simulator left for legacy reasons in IC5141. Would you mind running the following Skill command into your CIW ?

envGetLoadedTools(  )

Assuming spectreS is not supported in IC6, you need to find in your init files where spectreS is being referenced and get rid of it. You better talk to your PDK provider as I'm not familiar with yours.

BTW, thanks for posting your log file in the original ASCII format that we can all read without needing any tools from that company whose name is not worth to be mentioned in here ...

Cheers,
Riad.

Hi,

Rather hard for me to answer since it is likely to be tied to your PDK.
Would you mind doing something for me please.
In your library manager, right click that NCSU library and get it's read/write path. Browse to that path from your UNIX terminal and look at a file called libInit.il. Edit this file and comment any line that mentions spectreS. Acoording to what you have posted, spectreS is definitely not supported and one need to clean any calls to that simulator.

So if you are able to comment 'spectreS' in the NCSU library, then restart your Cadence session and things should be alright.

Best for you is to get in touch with your PDK provider though. You need to make sure using the right PDK with the right Cadence tools.

Cheers,
Riad.
