Getting your questions answered
Sep 12th, 2009, 1:20am

If you have asked a question on this site and are not satisfied with result, either because nobody responded, or because the response were off target or too vague, you might want to think about how you asked the question.

In my experience, a well asked question almost always gets answered quickly. Well asked questions satisfies the following guidelines:
1. they provide all relevant information
2. they ask a very specific question
3. they are succinct and easily understood (read and edit it completely at least twice before submitting it)

Remember that, undoubtedly, there are people reading your question that can answer it for you. However, they all have lots of things to do beside answer your question. Most will only answer it if they can do so quickly.
