Running Spectre Stability Analysis at a non-Quiescent operating point.
Jun 25th, 2009, 3:06pm

I'd like to run a transient analysis on this circuit up to 100nS and THEN perform a stability analysis under that operating point.  Does anyone know if this can be done?  Kundert's book mentions it with AC analysis but I cant get this to work with STB since the STB run happens BEFORE transient...  at least that is the first problem.

Thanks.

Use "prevoppoint=yes" or "readns" of STB analysis with Transient analysis.

Dear Kevin,

                   Are you running simulation through ADE ? Then you can try like this .  :  analyses -> tran -> option -> actimes = 100 n
                                                                  acname = stb.

In your analysis section both tran and stb should be enabled properly. and then you run the simulation.
