The error is coming because the extract rules reference a component that does not exist in the library - as it says in the error.

There's an option what was added in 3.1.4 USR1, ?checkCellView nil, which can be added into the RSF to tell it to not do this check. Of course, it will fail if you actually have instances of that component in your layout, but if not it would allow it to proceed.

This also can be found on the Setup tab of the RCX form, labelled "Enable CellView Check".

This is covered in sourcelink solution 11213516 (assuming you have access to sourcelink.cadence.com) - I wrote the solution, actually!

That's quite an old version of Assura you're using there...

Regards,

Andrew.

Hi, andrew, many thanks for your quick reply.

However, I am just a student of our university, I don't have access to  sourcelink solution 11213516.

so, can you forward it to my email (maogecn@gmail.com)?

thanks

I don't think there's much more information you could glean from it - it essentially says the same thing as my post. I was merely pointing it out to suggest to you and others that there are often solutions on sourcelink for this kind of thing - although that doesn't help you in your case...

Anyway, you should be able to just turn off the "enable cellview check" checkbox, even with the version you're using. Does that work?

Regards,

Andrew.

Do you have analogLib in your cds.lib? It's looking for presistor now, which is normally not part of the design kit...

Otherwise, you should probably contact the PDK provider.

Andrew.
