Modelling of frequency-dependent resistor (ferrit choke)
Jan 05th, 2009, 11:43pm

Hi,

I need to model a frequency-dependent resistor (phase should be relatively constant) - basically a ferrit choke. How can I do that in spectre/veriloga? A combination of R-L-C elements doesn't work since this doesn't result in a constant phase?

Any ideas?

Regards

Maybe this piece on skin effect (resistance varying with sqrt(freq) in this case) will help ?
