Spectre wire model for cadence usage
Dec 28th, 2006, 12:46am

Hello,

Trying to build a wire model.

I have the scs netlist for the wire model.

Now that I have the netlist how to I integrate this into cadence schematics (and get the netlister to recognize it)?

Do I need to build a symbol for the wire model and add simulation CDF parameters?  Do I need to create some how a spectre view for this wire_model?  (how ..)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards Omer.

Just create a symbol,  and copy  the  symbol  to "spectre"  view.

Edit  CDF parameters,  "cdf layer" = "base" ,  and   edit the
"simulation information" tab, "spectre"    and  finally  "termOrder"

Enter the  name  of the pins  which appear  in the symbol
in the same  order  as they  appear  in the netlist you have  created

Enter them  in double  quotes, e.g.

"ain"  "dout"  "vdd"
