1.) Title: Analog Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Duties will include working within a Product Development Team to create (design, layout, and evaluate) advanced, high performance CMOS ADCs, and to modify existing circuit architectures, verify functionality of designs, prepare and present Design Reviews to internal groups and external customers, write technical reports, specifications and needed application notes.


Functional/Industry Knowledge
Required:
- Minimum of 7-10 years Analog CMOS IC Design experience in a product development environment
- Proven Analog IC Design skills in ADCs or related technologies
- Proven experimental skills and lab/bench expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired:
- Past experience in a lead position giving guidance to other engineers

Education/Certifications
Required Degree: MS
Preferred Degree: Ph.D
Preferred Major: Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Location: Allentown, PA

2.) Title: Analog Design Manager:

Job Responsibilities
Duties will include leading the Product Development Team to develop and support leading edge mixed signal and RF IC designs. The initial application of the circuits will be in a highly integrated RF communication system targeted at an emerging growth market. The manager is responsible for all specification negotiations with the systems team, and implementation of the circuits in design, simulation, and layout, as well as delivery of test boards for validation of the devices, and interface and support the reference design engineering team and ATE test team members. The design is a complete receiver system with state of the art performance.
The position requires creation and encouragement of a cooperative environment in which design excellence and rigorous program execution become a passion for all the team members. This team will be challenged with leading edge programs which will be managed from concept to product launch.
Functional/Industry Knowledge
Expert in Analog IC Product Design and methodologies. Proven ability to manage a hands on small team (5 headcount) now and grow to manage an Analog design capability that addresses A/D, D/A, and RF needs of the Enterprise and Networking community. Ability to manage a remote site will be essential as we may grow analog design capabilities in other locations worldwide depending on customer needs and candidate availability.
Required:
- Minimum of 7-10 years Analog/ Mixed signal IC Design experience in a product development environment
- Proven Design skills
- Experience in analog design, simulation, layout interface, and modeling for both Mixed signal CMOS and RF processes
- Experience in high performance, leading edge technology in the areas of A/D converters and RF ICs
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in planning, managing, and meeting schedules and milestones.
- Excellent technical leadership and knowledge of the various technology tradeoffs
- Must be willing to follow a structured design approach including design for reuse and provide thorough design documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired:
- Past experience in a lead position giving guidance to other engineers

Education/Certifications
Preferred Degree: MS
Preferred Major: Electrical Engineering or fundamental sciences degree with a career in engineering.
