parsing of ahdl failed - cadence model writer
Apr 18th, 2005, 2:35am

When using the Cadence Model Writer 2.28 and generating the code it always gives me the following error: "Parsing of ahdl failed". However, when I write my own code or use code from this site everything works fine.
Any ideas why the model writer does not work properly?

Cheers,
svensl

I've never used model writer, but ... don't you get any more information from the parser about what failed in particular?  Have you looked at the code to see if you can spot any obvious problems?  Are you using Verilog-A or SpectreHDL?

The problem was that the modelwriter could not find the disciplines and constants .vams and .h files.  Once I had copied them into my working directory everything worked fine.
