I've been retained to find great analog IC designers for a rapidly growing fabless semiconductor company in Austin, TX. The company is a leading provider of MP3 and related chips. They have recently gone IPO, and expect to double their staff this year.

The company is staffing a new project, for a totally new technology. Candidates will be required to pass an on-line analog design test, and sign an NDA before they will be given the particulars of the project or the technology.

Here is a brief description of the positions:

Design and develop high-speed mixed-signal ICs
Algorithm development for high-speed Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog converters (AD to DAC)
Experience designing DA, ADC, low-noise analog filters, gm/c filters, low-jitter, high-speed phase-locked loop (PLL).

- MSEE with 3+ years experience  (different positions depending on experience)
- Knowledge of DSP's or experience with DSP's is required
- Mixed signal design and simulation tools
- Communications and/or Audio signal processing experience
- Knowledge of Verilog-AMS

Please send your resume with salary requirements to: hoss@veriseo.com. The subject line should say analog designer.

Sincerely,
Jeff Cartwright
