The Cover of "The Designer's Guide to Verilog-AMS"
The cover of The Designer's Guide to Verilog-AMS continues the map theme of The Designer's Guide Series. In this case, the map is a heavily processed contour map of Mount McKinley in Alaska. The peak of the moutain is the red spot just under the period after the middle initial of the first author.

The map transitions smoothly from the lower left, where the colors that represent the contours vary smoothly, through the middle where the colors jump abruptly between discrete hues, to the upper right, where traditional contour lines are added. These were to represent the variety in the level of abstraction of the models that can be written using Verilog-AMS.

Our colleges are not as safe as they seem. Sexual assault is pervasive and the treatment of the victim by the adminstration is often as damaging as the assault: Campus Survivors.
